We made Brand Like These because we were tired of watching great design gather dust. Brilliant brand concepts get buried, discarded in decks, lost to indecision, or are made purely for self expression. Meanwhile, start-ups and fast-moving businesses are stuck with the often slow, expensive, and unpredictable process of traditional branding.

BLT flips that model. It’s a place where designers can turn unused work into real income, and where founders can skip the pitch process and buy a brand that’s ready to launch. It’s about creative freedom, faster growth, and giving bold ideas a second life.

FAQ

Can I sell self-initiated or unused work?

Yes — that’s what BLT is built for. Whether it’s a concept a client passed on or a brand idea you created for fun, as long as you own all rights, it’s eligible for sale on the platform.

How do I get paid?

We are currently consulting our community but we are suggesting that once your design sold, you will receive 50% of the selling price. The rest will go towards running the platform, outreaching to the right clients and industries, marketing your projects, and more.

How much will designs sell for?

Projects on the platform will be priced depending on factors such as : extent of the brand, industry, features, uniqueness (think custom lettering, icons, etc). We will agree on the final price before the project goes live.

Who owns my design?

You retain full ownership of your design until it is purchased. While it's listed on the platform, you agree not to sell or reuse it elsewhere. Upon purchase, copyright and all associated rights transfer to the buyer.

BLT is granted a limited license to showcase and promote the work both before and after sale.

What happens to my design once it’s sold?

Each design will only sell once, so your concept will become a unique brand.

Once your design is sold, the purchasing client might use the concept as is, or decide to customise it to fit their project. This means potentially swapping the logo for their existing name, adapting the colours slightly to fit the industry (or disrupt it!) etc. The customisation if taking place will be done by the in house BLT team, and will always champion your design and try as much as possible to keep it’s original essence.

Can I remove my design from the platform?

Yes. You can remove your design from the platform at any point before it has been sold. Once it’s sold, the rights transfer permanently to the buyer.
